Final Fantasy (Partial) Trophy List Revealed

Final Fantasy (Partial) Trophy List Revealed

16 Dec, 2009

It looks as though trophy completists are going to have a tough time when it comes to Final Fantasy XIII.

Dutch gaming site PS3 Sense are reporting an incomplete list of secret achievements, including rewards for mastering different roles. However, mastering all the abilities will only score you a silver trophy, collecting all weapons and accessories gets you a gold, and gaining the ‘complete knowledge’ of 100 different enemies won’t get you a platinum either. It’s not going to be easy.

Here’s the trophy list as we know it:

Bronze

  1. Assault Ruby – Master the Attacker Role
  2. Destruction Sapphire – Master the Blaster Role
  3. Guardian Topaz – Master the Defender Role
  4. Hex Jade – Master the Jammer Role
  5. Inspiration Amethyst – Master the Enhancer Role
  6. Healing Emerald – Master the Healer Role

Silver

  1. Limit Breaker – Deal over 100,000 damage to an enemy
  2. Behemoth Hunter – Slay a wandering behemoth
  3. Perfect Diamond – Learn all abilities to the fullest

Gold

  1. Collector of All Things – Collect all weapons and accessories
  2. The All Knowing Sage – Gain the complete knowledge of 100 different enemies

Plantinum

  1. Platinum Trophy – Achieve all trophies (Secret)

As always, more as and when we get it.

Final Fantasy XIII is set to hit consoles on 9 March 2010.

I didn’t actually read the trophy list because I’m far too excited for this game and I pretty much don’t want to know anything about it. I ruined Final Fantasy 12 for myself by reading about it too much and I don’t want the same to happen with 13, I know trophies aren’t exactly plot spoilers, but I want an experience that feels completely ‘new’. I just felt the need to say…. I can’t wait.

I’m absolutely stoked for Final Fantasy XIII. The fact that it’s going to be much more story-oriented – like Final Fantasy X – than Final Fantasy XII makes me very happy.

The Trophies sound pretty typical – master a class, deal a certain amount of damage – and they remind me of the Pirate’s Den from Final Fantasy XII.

While I’m not that obsessed with Trophies, I’m still somewhat interested in knowing what the rest of them are going to be.

    Thanks for the article!

  3. Final Fantasy is my favorite game ever!!! It’s the best! :)
