EA Sports Active: Now For Men

EA Sports Active: Now For Men

31 Dec, 2009

It was only a matter of time before someone figured out that EA Sports Active didn’t really appeal to both sexes. And a shorter time still before someone capitalised on that.

According to a rumour at Destructoid, the team behind EA Active are busy putting getting a new version of the hit health game, only this time centered around NFL football, complete with a training drills and a oh-so-masculine football peripheral for the Wiimote.

Why working out with and/or as a male or female avatar makes a difference, I have no idea – although we do know that it is something that seems to bother some people. Nor do I understanding why we need to keep differentiating in what are essentially gender-neutral games. Do you? Surely I’m not the only person who really couldn’t give a crap?!

Pah, I couldn’t care less… It’s still a game after all, I didn’t see people complaining about Tomb Raider and having to play as a woman…. unless that is what Uncharted was made for :P
