Each week we update you on what games have been getting quality time on the consoles, PCs and handhelds of our lovely GGS.com staff. Here’s what we’ve been playing this week:
Sarah: Dragon Age: Origins (PC); Final Fantasy XII (360); Fable 2 (360)
Steve: Borderlands (PS3); WET (PS3); Sega Mega Drive Ultimate Collection (PS3); Assassin’s Creed 2 (360); SAW (360); Killing Floor (PC); Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars (PSP)
Vikki: Assassin’s Creed II (PS3); SingStar Take That (PS3); Lips Number Ones (360); Cloudy with the Chance of Meatballs (PS3 – w/son); Up (PS3 – w/son. p.s. the final fight in this game is IMPOSSIBLY BLOODY HARD); Zelda Spirit Tracks (DSi); Resident Evil Deadly Silence (DSi); Silent Hill: The Room (PS2)
So that’s what’s been keeping us busy this week. How about you?

Dragon Age is my current obsession, I’m on my fourth time playing it through. Yeah, I’m *that* brand of nerd. :)
Then you’re in very good company, Natasha! ;)
Dragon Age would be my game of choice for the now, however I have a lot of work to do at Uni and have no time to play GRRRR.
I have to write the soundtrack to our final year project, make 3d assets for it, write the story/concept, take reference images, make textures……….. and ontop of that I have to motivate my team into doing some of the above too.
Oh and I have to create a flash game too……. for some unknown reason……………………………………………..
Anyways! Enough about me! :P
The SOUNDTRACK?! Christ. *gulps*
I still don’t have Dragon Age – I was waiting until after the Christmas rush. I guess the time has come! I’ve been piddling with MMOs (WOW and recently EVE) and LittleBigPlanet (PS3). Nothing exciting.
Holla at WoW! Although I’m in a love/hate relationship.
Sarah’s playing FF XIII? Sweet! I’ve been watching videos on YouTube and I’m nearly 100% sure I’m going to love the game. Only two more months until it hits the US. I can’t wait.
Nevermind, I just realized that it said FF XII. Sorry…too excited, I guess.
I thought FF XII was a decent game. Great battle system, but the plot felt rushed and I wasn’t as attached to the characters as I was for other Final Fantasies. Still, worth playing.
I really like FF12 for the battle system, and although the plot isn’t as indepth and emotionally driven, I like its pace. It doesn’t dilly-dally. Plus the dialogue and spoken parts are cheeky, like Fran’s keister.
