Attention Steam members, it’s time for me to tell you about some offers that the ol’ Steampowered Fellas have provided us with this weekend. Now you can get rid of that pesky money that’s been clogging up your Wallets and Purses for so long! – Hurrah!
Farcry and Farcry 2: Fortunes Edition are now on sale at a lovely 50% off, so you can now hunt for Diamonds and needlessly burn fields for a tiny £9.98 for the two, great stuff right? Word of Warning though, make sure that your PC is up to whack first, Farcry 2 has foliage of fury and it will tear your hardware apart.
A new game being unlocked in approximately 1 month, 1 week and 3 days, named “Metro 2033” comes with an offer of Pre-ordering and receiving a free copy of Red Faction: Guerrilla – FREE!

In case you fancy this deal, you should probably know Steam’s description of this Metro 2033 title:
“Set in the shattered subway of a post apocalyptic Moscow, Metro 2033 is a story of intensive underground survival where the fate of mankind rests in your hands.
In 2013 the world was devastated by an apocalyptic event, annihilating almost all mankind and turning the earth’s surface into a poisonous wasteland. A handful of survivors took refuge in the depths of the Moscow underground, and human civilization entered a new Dark Age.
The year is 2033. An entire generation has been born and raised underground, and their besieged Metro Station-Cities struggle for survival, with each other, and the mutant horrors that await outside.
You are Artyom, born in the last days before the fire, but raised underground. Having never ventured beyond your Metro Station-City limits, one fateful event sparks a desperate mission to the heart of the Metro system, to warn the remnants of mankind of a terrible impending threat. Your journey takes you from the forgotten catacombs beneath the subway to the desolate wastelands above, where your actions will determine the fate of mankind.”
Sounds cool right? I love post Apocalyptic games and movies, this sounds right up the Fallout 3 lover’s street.
If you weren’t soured by the whole limited Installs and stacked Errors that Bioshock on PC brought us in the past, then by all means pre-order Bioshock 2 from Steam and save 10% on your download. As well as this you receive the first amazing game free and again I say FREE! – Not sure why you would want the first one if you already have it, but if it’s free I’d even take Dark Voi- … Nah just kidding.
So that’s the latest round up of what Steam has to offer and if you have no idea what I’m talking about visit http://store.steampowered.com/
Happy Gaming!
