I was beginning to worry that the UK would be left out of the celebrations surrounding the highly anticipated release of Final Fantasy XIII but thankfully, my fears were proved groundless.
It was confirmed earlier today by Square Enix, the UK Final Fantasy XIII Launch Event will be held at HMV on Oxford Street, London. Entry will be free and the event will take place from 5:30 – 7:30pm on March 9th where fans will get the opportunity to meet producer, Yoshinori Kitase and art director, Isamu Kamikokuryo.
“It wouldn’t be a launch event without the chance to win goodies! For the first 50 people to attend the signing dressed in Final Fantasy costumes, they will be given a free Final Fantasy XIII soundtrack as well as there being other opportunities for other attendees to win prizes.”
As much as I’d love the excuse to dress up like Lulu (FFX) or Ashe (FFXII) and mix with lots of Balthier lookalikes, I don’t think I’m going to get to go. :(
