What We're-Playing Wednesday (24/2)

24 Feb, 2010

Each week we update you on what games have been getting quality time on the consoles, PCs and handhelds of our lovely GGS.com staff. Here’s what we’ve been playing this week:

Sarah J.: Assassin’s Creed (PS3); Resident Evil 4 (PS2)
Steve: Borderlands (PS3); Bioshock 2 (PS3); Resident Evil 5: Lost in Nightmares (PS3); Doom 3 (PC)
Vikki: Bayonetta (360); New Super Mario Bros (Wii); Tetris (DS)

So that’s what’s been keeping us busy this week. How about you?

this week I’ve been madly playing Mass Effect 1 for the first time on the PC, I know once my pre-order Final Fantasy 13 comes in next month I’ll get distracted by the shiney
I also picked up Ace Attorney Investigations as well and have been playing through that before bed.

    • How does it play on the PC – okay? And what about AAI – what do you think of it?

I have ME2 sitting in its wrapper in my games cupboard. :/ Haven’t had chance to play it yet!

yeah I found it really easy to get comfortable with the controls for ME1, the only problems I’ve had with it are getting stuck if I activate an elevator with out my weapon holstered. But apart from that It’s really smooth and enjoyable.
AAI I’ve been enjoying too, it feels pretty much like the other AA games I’ve played (2&4) and while I think having a flat picture to investigate still works better then getting Edgworth to walk around and face things to examine them it’s still a lot of fun and it’s nice to see the charaters standing around in a scene.
