“Ubisoft have today released Assassin’s Creed 2: Multiplayer, an exclusive game for both iPhone & iPod Touch which becomes the first title in the acclaimed series that allows you to compete against your friends.
A real-time online multiplayer that allows you to compete against up to three assassins controlled by other players across a Wi-fi connection, the player is tasked with hunting down other players and assassinating them before they kill you.
Players will be able to take advantage of the environment, as well as blending within crowds of citizens as they fight across three different locations that have been inspired by the Italian cities of the Renaissance period.
Of course you’ll need to get ahead of your opponents to succeed, and Ubisoft have included six different power-ups that will provide the necessary edge. It is only by defeating them that your notoriety will rise, allowing you to climb the dynamic ranking system to gain a higher placing on the leaderboards.
The game also contains 24 achievements and the ability to post your records on Facebook, with further integration allowing you to manage a list of friends and send them live invitations to join your game sessions.”
Well, at least is gives those of us affected by the apocalyps3 to get some sort of gaming fix. :/

This sounds way better than battling with Gameboys and a link cable. If only I have an iPhone or iPod.
