Australia Launches First Video Game Licensed Venue

Australia Launches First Video Game Licensed Venue

3 Mar, 2010

Like gaming? And cocktails? And you’re in Australia? Then what I’m about to tell you is going to make your day, my friend.

On Saturday 20 March, Australia launches it’s first video game licensed venue, the Mana Bar. And if that wasn’t incredible in and of itself – if there was a video game licensed video around here I’d probably move in – they’re celebrating the launch with a heap of ‘really cool stuff’ too, including game previews, gamer-theme cocktails, prizes and giveaway and the chance to meet Little Sister.

Even though I’d go to the ends of the earth for gaming my post-Q1 budget is a little thin right now, so I’m going to have to give this a miss. But just in case you live locally to the bar – or you’re a card-carrying gazillionnaire with a free weekend coming up – here are the details.

Are you going? If so, so tell us about it!

I’m in Australia but two states south ;_; I did hear that if it’s popular that they’ll look into opening more in other states though *fingers crossed*

    • Yeah – I can appreciate that Australia’s a big place. :p

Fingers crossed indeed that they open some more! I’d love to have something like this near me.
