Halfbrick are knocking out some awesome mini-games lately, and it looks as though their latest offering is no exception. Rocket Racing – a game that challenges you to “drive like a true prodigy by mastering advanced drifting and wall-boosting techniques” – will be their fourth PS3 mini game and is released today, hoping to follow in the tracks of previously successful titles Blast Off and Age of Zombies.
Apparently, “Rocket Racing puts players in the sub-stratosphere on tracks suspended above the clouds and futuristic cities” – which sounds great, albeit ever-so-slightly fantastical. Thankfully, we have a video to see for ourselves, although I never think these videos do Halfbrick justice. Their games have always been incredibly fun and addictive, even if they don’t quite look as pretty as some have come to expect of 21st century gaming. What do you think?
And no, I don’t know what a wall-boosting technique is, either. But I’m looking forward to finding out!
