We already know that people can be kind of creative when it comes to a RRoD. But as all-kinds-awesome 360 robots are, personally I’d rather treat a dodo’ed 360 with the love and respect a precious family friend deserves. Sniff.
Designer Alexis Vanamois has stepped in with a solution to help fill the void . . . and by void, I mean coffin, and by coffin I mean . . . well, precisely that: we’re talking about a coffin here.
No, they’re not available for retail yet. But going on the speed at which these pictures have hit the global gaming community, I suspect they will be before long …

I know someone with a coffin shaped shelf (she keeps her perfumes collection on it) and she would be the kind of person to love this – and would use it for something totally un-Xbox360 related. There are strange people out there. (:
The red-ring-of-death is typically caused by a breaking down of some soldering that breaks-down due to the heat of the mother board. Microsoft had to use a lead free product for health reasons, which has this defect associated with it. It makes me think, “why?” I mean… don’t let your kids lick the inside of their Xbox360!
Ohhh man, that’s classic. I love it.
I don’t even own an Xbox and I want one! :P
