No, McDonalds haven’t added portable gaming consoles to their menus but they have decided to use them to help train their employees in Japan.
According to a Japanese trade paper, McDonalds will be installing two DSes into each of their outlets, costing the company around 200 million yen. The reasoning? Well, partly because they believe the time it takes to train employees will be cut in half as most people will already be familiar with the DS.
I did a two and a half day training course at work this week. I bet I could’ve done it in one if they’d opted to use a PS3. ;)

Hmm, that’s a very interesting idea, I wonder how well it will work…
