As you all know a new Silent Hill game is on the horizon, and I use the term ‘new’ lightly considering there is speculation that it may be a Silent Hill 2 remake. However, speculations aside, this new game is not going to be developed by Climax, the creator of Silent Hill: Shattered Memories. The reins have been handed over to a Czech developer called Vatra Games. Vatra Games is a relatively new, upstart developer who is also working on the reboot of Rush ‘N’ Attack. Konami plans to reveal more about the game during the next E3, but very few details are known besides that the game is being developed for the next gen consoles (Xbox 360 and PS3) as well as the PC. In addition, longtime Silent Hill music genius, Akira Yamaoka, will not be composing this games music.

Interesting… Hopefully they do well.
Womp womp :(
I won’t be a Debbie Downer but I’m still disappointed in Silent Hill (5): Homecoming. It was made by a different team and looked like a base imitation of the game, like what the movie offered.
