Last night, on May 5th, Canada held their first annual video game award ceremony for the year of 2009. Despite being a bit late, many Canadian gamers were excited for this big event, as well as the companies whose games would be represented there. In the end Bioware walked away the big winner, taking home the 2009 Game of the Year award for Dragon Age: Origins. However, there were many other games that walked off with an award. The following is a list of the available awards, the nominees, and the winning games. So congratulations to all the winning games, their respective companies, and, of course, the Canadian gamers who play them! Rock on!

Wow, Assassin’s Creed 2 is just sweeping the awards. I remember reading how it has the most cover issues of any game of all time lol
Yeah Dragon Age and Assassin’s Creed to pretty much left everyone else in there dust it looks like.
I’m not syaing they didn’t deserve the awards, it’s just slightly frustrating seeing the same names over again. But i’m sure they deserve it.
Yeah, I know how that is. It gets to a point where it’s like, I’m sure some other games are just as good…..these games aren’t perfect…
