That’s right, Silent Hill 2, is going to be making it’s way to the big screen. Producer Don Carmody, who is currently working on Resident Evil: Afterlife, is ready to make another Silent Hill movie. Carmody recently told Fearnet that he’s “hoping to start [filming] it in late spring in Toronto.” The actress Radha Mitchell will once again be featuring in the sequel. However, director Christophe Gans will not be returning this time around. Also, during his interview Carmody revealed that the first movie resulted in a large amount of hate mail. Oh, wow, this is surprising. I thought since the lead screenwriter from the first Silent Hill movie was in jail for killing his wife that they’d put this on a huge delay.
And wtf at the hate mail for this movie!? I thought it was really good.
o_o That screenwriter has some issues….then again. That’s a good thing if they’re writing the script for a Silent Hill! :D But not so good for his wife… <_<
Personally, I couldn't get into the movie. I couldn't stand the main character at all, and I was just too much of a die hard to the book Silent Hill fan to enjoy it. Though, I'm sure it was fine.
Aw, that’s too bad. I liked the movie as a fan of movies, and ’cause I like the Silent Hill universe. I think I’ve been beaten down enough when it comes to the books and games that I love being total train wrecks, so this one wasn’t so bad in those terms.

Same here, I would’ve enjoyed the movie more if it wasn’t supposed to be Silent Hill. It just….WASN’T Silent Hill, and that’s the problem. :/
Should I be shot on site for watching the movie before playing actually Silent Hill? I thought the movie was alright, so the sequel surely does stand a chance right?
Aw, you’re like a rare Pokemon! That’s kinda cute. Did you go into the series wondering where you can play the character “Rose” ’cause I always hear that one from people who are introduced into the series after watching the movie.
Honestly, I didn’t know what was going on, I spent my time wandering around all confused and scared. I may go watch an LP on it, in order to get at least some of the story under my belt.
Which one did you play first? You should play SH2 and 3 ’cause SH2 has a great story line and SH3 basically explains the first Silent Hill and puts a conclusion on it, in addition to being really fun and combat driven. Plus it has one of the creepiest scenarios for a video game OF ALL TIME.
