Now that you’ve finally saved up the money for that fantastic HDTV you’ve been ogling for the last two years, the latest technology turns around and gives you the middle finger before moving (once more) out of reach.
Yep, that’s right. What you need is a 3D TV! Preferably by June 10th as the first PSN 3D titles go live.
“On June 10th Wipeout HD, Super Stardust HD and Mr. Pain will be getting 3D updates.
So what’s the downside? Well, the only real issue is that Mr. Pain will cost 300 yen (about £2.20) to unlock the 3D mode, Wipeout HD and Super Stardust HD will update to the third dimension for free.
But wait, there’s more! If you’re still not sold on spending all your money on 3D technology, Sony will throw in a bonus if you go for one of their 3D enabled Bravia TVs. That’s right, if you pick up a Bravia 3D TV, you’ll get a demo of Motorstorm 2 in 3D to really show off your new tech. What more could you ask for?”
Are you tempted to go 3D or will you be sticking with your old-fashioned HDTV for a while longer?
