The first piece of DLC for Alan Wake is now avaliable. It is titled “The Siren”, and Alan is placed in greater danger than he’s faced before. It will take place in a setting where nightmare and reality combine, and take place in a nightmare world which will make likely make good use of the light and dark mechanics of the game.
For people who bought a new copy of Alan Wake, you should have a code which allows you to have this DLC for free! If not, its available from Live Marketplace for 560 points. Even if it’s been a while since you played the game, for free I am certain it will be worth your time.
It also serves me as a reminder than I really need to get this game soon!
EDIT: It has been reported that if you have already entered your redemption code for the DLC, you will be unable to redeem the DLC yet. Don’t worry, a new code will be sent to the email account tied to your Xbox Live account. Source: Destructoid
