The 3rd Birthday Sequel Would Be in HD

7 Aug, 2010

Dubbed as a “spiritual” successor to the PSOne games, Parasite Eve 1 and 2, The 3rd Birthday has been a long time coming for loyal Aya Brea fans.

PSP exclusive, The 3rd Birthday seems to be a hot topic for the game’s director, Tetsuya Nomura, on Twitter at the moment. Commenting on the series, Nomura thinks that any future sequel would be in HD.

“In terms of a possible sequel, the next one would be in HD.”

Nomura has also commented on the possibility of a PSN release for the original Parasite Eve games – something I’m sure fans in the UK would rejoice over, considering the first game was never released here..

“As for Parasite Eve 1 and 2 for Game Archives [PSOne Classics in Japan], we’re looking into it. Please wait a bit longer.”

There has been no word, as yet, of a Western release date.

Never mind in Japan! Parasite Eve on the UK PSN store… I have no shame in admitting I may wee a little.

    • Hahaha. The first Parasite Eve game is AMAZING! The second, not so much.

      Keeping my fingers crossed though!

I never played the first, for understandable reasons, but I really liked the second one! I’ll be keeping everything crossed!
