Welcome to our weekly Community Q!
Once a week we flip the tables and listen to what you guys have to say . . . rather than sitting back and make you listen to us!
Community Q: What’s the worst game you’ve ever played? Why? Did you even finish it? If so, why – if not, why not? Tell us all about it!
Got an idea for a future Community Q question? Drop us a line and tell us about it!

I think the worst game I ever played that wasn’t supposed to be the worst game I’d ever played was Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness. I did finish it out of loyalty to the series and the appeal of next-gen Lara but it was painful, and so disappointing.
Resident Evil: Survivor was absolute tripe but I finished that about 7 or 8 times. Clearly when it comes to Resi I’m a gaming masochist. However, I still haven’t played the second Survivor title which I understand is arguably worse than the first.
Hmm, got to agree that The Angel of Darkness was pretty bad, and for reasons apart from there being no tombs!
However, I thought the most recent Alone in the Dark on 360 was poor, I just gave up after I got fed up of dieing! I still remember the time I glitched and drove into the ground!
I honestly cannot think of a game I’ve played that I would consider to be ‘the worst game’. I’ve played some pretty sub-par titles, but nothing so dreadful I would go as far as to say was that bad.
In terms of a game that I just had a fundemental problem with as far as it’s ‘ethos’ goes, I had the displeasure of have a brief go on ’50 Cent: Bulletproof’. Not only was it a crapass game, featuring an egotistical bone head ‘gangsta rapper’, but I just couldn’t believe he had leant his likeness to a game that showed him committing acts of casual violence in a way that was something to aspire to when he is such a high-profile public figure.
You could argue the same about any violent game I suppose, and a lot of it could be down to my bias in that I think 50 Cent is a useless asshole, but that game just seemed to portray a massive lack of maturity and integrity on his part, and if nothing else further accentuated what a sellout joke rap music became.
I’ve been playing video games for 11 years and have played enough pure breed shooters to make me a veteran. Like many others I can see the beauty in many games, I have NEVER ever been annoyed by a game up until 2007 when cod4 came out, it was a complete shock with all the perks that spoil the purity of the FPS haven, thugs got even worse with COD6 now people are able to shoot others from around corners use guns from the 19th century and destroy everyone with a helicopter.
Basically I think cock of doody is the most fault ridden noob infested least realistic over priced POS in video game history, unfortunately there are no other games that seem as addicting which makes me hate life whenever I play it.
What happened to the good ol days of battlefield 2 and proper quality games?
The worst game I have ever played would have to be Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. The first three games in the series were ok enough for me to actually finish it. They also followed the series of books and movies pretty well. However, this one is just plain crap. It doesn’t follow the series, the gameplay is absolutely crap along with voice acting. The only thing ok about that game is being able to sell it on ebay to some lowly sap willing to buy it. That is absolutely the worst game in video game history… In my opinion anyway.
