Hit vegetation vs undead title Plants vs Zombies is heading to the Nintendo DS early January 2011. As well as the usual gameplay modes exclusive, and as yet un-announced features, will make it onto the DS in 2D.
The hugely popular iOS game is one of the many commercial successes on the iPhone and iPod Touch bringing in over $1 million for popcap in its first 9 days on sale. The title has already announced a port to Xbox Live Arcade due for release in September 2010 and this spread onto the DS for the US market marks the continued expansion of successful IPs from the iOS devices onto multiple platforms.
There is no news on release for outside the US at this point.
