Activision release DJ Hero 2 track list

Well, sort of. On the off-chance that anyone still cares, Activision have detailed the impressively bountiful breakdown of artists lending an incredible 105 tunes for inclusion in FreeStyleGames’ forthcoming deck-spinning simulator DJ Hero 2.

Contributors include classic dance outfits The Prodigy, Basement Jaxx and The Chemical Brothers, plus tracks from popular chart acts Rihanna, Dizzee Rascal and Lady GaGa. However, while it’s safe to assume that all the tracks used in the game will be remixes, most of these are as yet unspecified. Here’s the list in full!

The original DJ Hero was released in October 2009 and was praised for its fresh take on the rhythm game. However, it was criticised for its high price-point, technical difficulty compared to other music titles like Activision’s own Guitar Hero and for its genre-contradicting focus on solo gameplay, leading to disappointing sales worldwide.

DJ Hero 2 is released for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii in the US and Australia on October 19th, following in Europe on the 22nd.
