There’s a lot to love about EA’s Redwood Shores. Built-in cinema. In-house Starbucks. On-demand gaming at the workplace, squishy, comfy sofas and more freebies than you can shake a stick at. I’m sure there’s more, but I know that when I was invited along to visit EARS a little while ago, my single, shining memory of that visit was free-vend tampons.

Yeah. I know. FREE TAMPONS. Awesome, right?

But apparently it’s not all arsing about, frothy coffees and non-profit sanitary products. They have games to develop, goddammit – it’s SRS BSNS. And just in case you thought that picking up an industry internship is nothing but fun and frolics, take a look-see at what the latest batch of EA interns have to say about their time at Electronic Art’s Californian studios and see for yourself that . . . well, it kind of does look like fun, actually …
