Yeah, that’s what we thought too. The latest in a host of bizarre inclusions to Harmonix’ supposedly rock-orientated rhythm game track list – the likes of self-confessed “free bitch” Lady GaGa and teeny-weeny pop sensation Miley Cyrus – not one, not two but eight Snoop Dogg tracks are heading to the Rock Band store next week. Because you can never have too much Snoop Dogg, apparently.
The first time, unsurprisingly, that the hip-hop genre has been featured in the Rock Band series, the Snoop Dogg Pack includes such delights as Snoop’s Upside Ya Head, That’s Tha Homie and Tha Shiznit. In his usual borderline-indecipherable manner, Snoop had this to say.
“I consider myself an OG gamer, and to be chosen as the first hip hop artist to appear in Rock Band, well, it doesn’t get any better than that, ya dig?
I know my fans gonna get down with tha Pound with this one and tha youngsters really gonna realise who started this gamer ish, you hear me?”
Needless to say, the spelling errors were Snoop’s, not ours. The Snoop Dogg Pack will be available for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii from September 7th.

But will you drop it like it’s hot?
Well considering I’m a Lady GaGa fan and I felt covered in shame playing Bad Romance on RB, I think I’ll give this one a miss xD
