Call of Duty: Black Ops Gets Hollywood Talent
With the release date of Call of Duty: Black Ops fast approaching, Activision have announced that Gary Oldman (The Dark Knight, The Book of Eli, Leon) and Ed Harris (A History of Violence, Apollo 13) will be taking on roles in the new game. Filmmaker David S. Goyer (Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, Blade) “will be lending story consultation and support”.
“Oldman, Harris and Goyer are considered some of the finest talents and they perfectly complement Call of Duty: Black Ops’ ambitious and immersive single-player experience,” said Treyarch head Mark Lamia in the press release. “Their contributions have helped us to push the boundaries of our story telling and character development far beyond anything we have ever attempted before in the franchise.”
Oldman will be coming back as Viktor Reznov (World at War) while Harris will be playing CIA operative, Jason Hudson.
Call of Duty: Black Ops will be released on November 9th and will be available on the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, PC and Wii.
