Well… they’re interesting to say the very least. Considering the DSi XL is currently available in uncharacteristically tasteful shades of brown and red, the three new colours due for release in a few weeks time conjure horrifying memories of the not-so-classy ‘Funtastic’ range of N64 consoles.
Aimed at the younger demographic of DS users, the new yellow, green and blue DSi XL consoles will be released on October 8th, the same day as forthcoming smash Professor Layton and the Unwound Future. They’ll also come packed with DSiWare Brain Training and Dictionary 6 in 1.
I actually quite like the blue and green ones, but the yellow looks really awful!
I wonder if these will sell well, I think they may have had a bit more luck with them on the DSi rather than the XL, but that’s just my opinion!
