As a special pre-order bonus for Donkey Kong Country Returns, Gamestop will be including a quirky banana pouch for your Wii remote. Donkey Kong Country Returns will be released on Nov. 21 in North America so if you already know you’re going to be getting the game anyways, you might want to go ahead and lay down the cash now. This pre-order exclusive is available two different ways. You can get it in-store when you pick up your game or it will ship with your game if you order online. Quantities are limited but you can always check availability by contacting your local Gamestop retailer.
Since this is obviously awesome news, I thought I would do an analysis of some of the different features and functions of the banana pouch. First off, not only can you put your Wii remote in it, but you can also store other things like loose change or Skittles. Additionally, an intuitive zipper is included. In the same way you might peel a banana you can “peel” your banana pouch. I obviously have not had any hands-on with the pouch but the picture looks convincing enough.
This next feature might surprise you, but did you know that the banana pouch is a great conversation piece at parties or social gatherings? Out of context, the pouch is hard to understand and is sure to spark questions from family and friends. Don’t be shy- delight them with your knowledge! Know your banana pouch and you’re sure to impress everyone around you.
The possibilities are literally endless. Did you notice the quaint metal clip at the top of the banana pouch? Well, obviously that’s a one up on actual bananas in functionality. If you want to carry the banana pouch around on your keychain you totally can thanks to its ingenious design.

This made me laugh so hard when I read it. It’s almost enough to convince me to go preorder the game, even without owning a Wii.
