Like spending money? Yea, Microsoft likes when you do, too. In fact, Microsoft wants to give you a bit of a Thank You for your MS Points purchases. For the month of October, when you spend at least 2400 MS Points in the XBLA, Microsoft will toss you back 800 MS Points.
Sadly it is a one-gift-per-person kinda deal, so it’ll only work once. Don’t expect to spend a whole bunch and get a whole bunch back. You wouldn’t want to be greedy now, would you?
Also it should be noted that the free points won’t be added to your account automatically – in fact, you can expect to see them on or around November 30, 2010, according to the official rules.
This deal is running from October 1st to October 31st, 2010 (11:59 pm EST).
