Hey, you! Yea, you! Do you have a PS3 and love Rock Band? Yea? Were you like, totally looking forward to picking up the keyboard bundled together with the game? WELL TOO DARN BAD! It ain’t happening.
That is, if you live in North Americans. Europeans, you guys are OK.
Harmonix recently announced this via their official website forum: “You may have seen that retailers have taken down the Rock Band 3 keyboard/software bundle pre-orders for PlayStation 3. Unfortunately, this SKU will not be available in the U.S. due to the agreement terms for the region.”
Don’t worry too much though – although you can’t get them bundled together, both will be able seperately. And most retailers will be honoring those pre-orders placed prior to this change as soft bundles (separate discs and keyboards), at pre-order pricing.
If you’re wondering – yes, the 360 and Wii will still see Rock Band 3 bundled with the keyboard. Seems strange that Sony is being left out of the picture. But hey, I have a 360 – so I’m happy.
Despite the lack of this one bundle, Rock Band 3 will still be hitting stores October 26th.
