More cuts at Raven Software

Wolfenstein and Singularity developer Raven Software has been plagued with job cuts and restructuring this year, and today it seems even more have been given their marching orders.

Back in August 2009, Raven let go about 50 employees after the release of Wolfenstein.  After Singularity, another 40 cuts were announced according to sources close to Kotaku.  Activision had this to say:  “With the recent completion of Singularity, Raven Software is realigning its workforce to better reflect the studio’s upcoming slate.”

Raven Software have was founded in 1990 and have developed a long line of hit titles under the Activision brand.  Games such as Hexen, Soldier of Fortune, X-Men, Quake 4 and Marvel: Ultimate Alliance.

The latest rumour claims that Raven will be designing multiplayer maps for upcoming Call of Duty games.
