THQ and Yuke’s 50 million+ selling juggernaut franchise WWE: Smackdown vs RAW 2011 comes out on October 29th 2010, and today THQ announced their extensive plans for downloadable content.
Players will be able to quickly access more than 60 unlockable items in WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011. Instant access to all unlockable content will be included as part of the Fan Axxess program, as well as sold separately for the anticipated cost of 80 Microsoft Points on Xbox LIVE or $0.99 on PlayStation Network. Purchasing a “Fan Axxess” pass for 800mp (XBL) or £6.30 (PSN) gives players access to selected downloadable content throughout the life-time of the video game. The downloadable content will include a number of playable WWE Legends, WWE Superstars and WWE Divas, alternate ring gear, playable arenas, a WWE Superstar Attribute Customizer, instant access to all unlockable content and an in-game badge to recognize the videogame’s biggest supporters.

The first DLC pack is as followed and will be included in the Fan Axxess pack or sold for 560mp (XBL) or £4.40 (PSN) due for release this holiday season:
- WWE Legends: The British Bulldog & Lex Luger
- WWE SuperStars: Wade Barret (Nexus), Justin Gabriel (Nexus), David Otunga (Nexus)
- WWE Divas: Layla (Smackdown)
- Alternate Ring Gear: Shawn Michaels, Shad
- Playable Arenas: NXT Arena
The second DLC pack will also be available on the Fan Axxess pack or sold for 240mp (XBL) or £1.90 (PSN), due for release early 2011:
- Alternative Ring Gear: John Cena, Undertaker and CM Punk
- Playable Arenas: WCW Arena
