Oh, Halloween – my favourite time of the year. It’s the one time I can go out covered in blood and no one gives me that WTF look… y’know, the look they give me when I do it during Christmas.
Anyway, Halloween must be a favourite with the guys over at Steam because they’re celebrating the holiday by giving everyone tons of great deals on all their ‘horror-isque’ games such as Amnesia: The Dark Descent, Silent Hill: Homecoming, Burn Zombie Burn!, and Dead Space just to name a few. All of the games are between 50% and 75% off their regular prices (with Amnesia being the lowest, at only 33% off) – making it one killer of a deal. While there are a ton of great games to choose from – I really recommend Amnesia. If you pick it up (which you should!) I highly recommend switching off all of your lights, wearing ear phones, and playing it late at night. You’ll thank me later. After you’ve changed your pants.
The sale started yesterday (October 28th) and goes all the way until November 1st.
Steam often has great sales. I got L4D2 for $5 and TF2 for $2.50 by watching for them on Steam. (:
