All of a sudden, it’s that time of year again. Time for shops, both physical and virtual, to cram their shelves with shiny new games in the hope that they can intrigue us long enough to crack open wallets and gift our loved ones – or ourselves – with a game or two this Christmas. With the huge array of different genres and titles, you can appreciate that it’s sometimes a struggle for the regular non-gaming public to separate the awful from the awesome.
Perhaps that’s why it’s so tempting to go for a name – and a game – you know and trust.
Hitting stores just in time for the holiday season, THQ are publishing the digital translation of the family favourite Pictionary. Boasting a range of ‘new’ features such as wireless multiplayer matches, pictionary ‘mania’ mini-games, tracing capabilities (yeah, really) and – my favourite revelation – a single player mode.
Surely a single-player board game is the best way to avoid your family this holiday season?
Pictionary is out now for the Nintendo DS and DSi.
