It’s a new Dead Space Developer Diary. This time Ian Milham, the team’s insanely talented Art Director, takes us through the multiplayer functionality on Dead Space 2.
I met Ian a few years ago. He’s a thoroughly awesome guy. Trouble is, I lost all interest in today’s video after he announced some of the finer details of the “gruesome and in-your-face-stuff” experience, namely that players can jump into the skin of necromorphs.
Personally? Nothing sounds better. I’m so sick of being terrified – and having my ass kicked – by those bloody things, it might be quite nice to play as one and shit-scare someone else for a change …
Dead Space 2 is scheduled for release on the 360, PS3 and PC on 28 January 2011.

Amazing!
Sounds pretty amazing! Can’t wait to get it next year and rip off some faces!
Going to play Dead Space 2 at a secret venue next week. Am both delighted and terrified; formerly, cos I love the game, but latterly because it scares the shit out of me and I always embarrass myself playing this in public! :P
Is very jealous! I’m sure you won’t be THAT bad!
