Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime is the one of the latest titles to be officially announced by Atari.
This brand new generation of paranormal spectre-spearing sees players assume the role of a newbie pulverizer of poltergeists, hired by the Ghostbuster team, to save New York City (again) from all manner of ghoulish catastrophe. Apparently, this title – the first ever digital release of the Ghostbusters game franchise – is packed to bursting-point with “ectoplasmic threats, haunted environments, gigantic bosses and destructive weapons including the Proton Stream, Plasma Inductor, and the Fermion Shock.”

Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime will be available on Xbox LIVE® Arcade for the Xbox 360, PlayStation®Network and Windows PC Download at Atari.com, in Spring 2011.
