What’s better than playing Costume Quest at Halloween? Why, playing it at Christmas of course!
Grubbins on Ice introduces a new festive chapter as Wren, Reynold, Everett and Lucy find themselves in the deceptively pretty Repugia, once again tasked with trick or treating and saving the world from those sugar-obsessed Grubbins. The DLC also introduces new costumes, quests, enemies and battle stamps to help the kids kick some Grubbin ass.
But that’s not all! Following numerous comments from gamers about the save mechanism and ridiculously fast-scrolling text, Double Fine have also patched the original game to address some of the niggles we had. And no, of course you don’t have to download the 400MSP DLC to get the patch but … well, why would you? As the website asks: “do you hate ENTERTAINMENT? Are you allergic to fun? Well, this is the cure!”
