It’s felt like an eternity but Dead Rising 2′s downloadable epilogue Case West, featuring everyone’s favourite coffee creamer-chugging photojournalist Frank West is officially released exclusively via the Xbox Live Arcade today.
We teased you with a few snippets of info earlier this month, but we now also know that Frank will be playable as a secondary co-op character and the intrepid pair will have access to a plethora of brand new combo weapons and items including the ‘Zap and Shine’ and the not-so-friendly sounding ‘Reaper’. Even more excitingly, Case West will also feature surprise cameo appearances from other classic Dead Rising characters.
Dead Rising 2 was released in September to massive critical acclaim, while downloadable prologue Case Zero went on to become one of the biggest-selling Arcade titles of 2010. Click here to check out our review of Dead Rising 2, or here for our thoughts on Case Zero.

Oh, another game I need to get! Have been dying for this though, looking forward to getting back in control of Chuck. Is Frank playable on Local co-op, as I may get a mate over for some multiplayer if that is the case.
I believe so! Whether you do it local or online I’m fairly certain whoever jumps in as player 2 plays as Frank. I’ll soon find out, download is 55% complete! xD
Ok, let me know when you find out. Hoping for local co-op on this, as I don’t have alot of co-op games I like! Would be good to have something to play when my mates come over, alot of them love zombies!
