As reported last week, the issue of hacking on PS3′s incarnation of Infinity Ward’s hit shooter Modern Warfare 2 is becoming a cause for increasingly concern on behalf of the players and creators. The serious breach of security in Sony’s long thought untouchable machine has seen games such as the Modern Warfare franchise fall pray to malicious hackers who as well as creating hacked lobbies have reportedly wiped players hard earned stats and even their game progress.
Modern Warfare’s creators, the now defunct Infinity Ward have discussed the issue with concerned gamers on the groups official forum, saying the current state of the games online feature is not the wrong doing of themselves, but rather Sony, with their failure to maintain the consoles security. Robert Bowling, the developers creative strategist was quoted on the forums as saying:
“Sony has recently acknowledged a breach in security on the PS3 which resulted in games to become exposed to exploits and hacks,”
“Modern Warfare 2 is no exception to this security exploit and we understand that some of you have experienced problems with stats and other issues associated with this.”
Tensions are running high amongst the frustrated gamers, many of whom are angered and confused as to why their unlockable items and statistics cannot be recovered after such security violations. Bowling however, claims that Infinity Ward are entirely helpless to prevent or reverse the current problem, and are advising that players stick to private lobbies and play only with friends until the matter can be properly assessed and resolved. They also claim that there are lessons to be learnt from these incidents, stating that they will no longer rely on the creative brains behind the systems to defend their intellectual property from hackers.
“Let me assure you, while we are very reliant on Sony updating their firmware and security to address the core problem of this issue, we are looking at every option available to us to help any user affected.
“This only applies to legacy games such as Call of Duty 4 and Modern Warfare 2. In the future we plan to adjust our approach to not rely solely on platform security and reduce the ability for this to happen in our games, as has already been displayed by the work Treyarch has done on Call of Duty: Black Ops to prevent similar measures.”

Every 2 out of 3 servers seems to be hacked nowdays. All my stats were wiped out, over a year of legitmate gaming gone. Activision support told me they arent responsible for their own game and to refer to infinity wards comment. Infinity ward blame sony, and in the end nothing is being done. If I wanted to play with hackers i would have stuck with pc gaming and not bothered buying a ps3.
I agree with you there Marco! Too many of these lobbies are being sobotaged by these irritating hackers. I just don’t understand their mentality. I have spent a long time trying to rank up and then during a random online match some B*****d buggered about with my profile and now I’m prestige 10 and all my classes have been changed. I have a rocket launcher as part of my equipment now. I don’t have any reason to play the damn game now! Very annoying!!!
hacker unlocked all of the titles and emblems. its just as bad as losing all of them. either way, we want to work hard for it. PS3 should permaban hackers. true story.

It happened to me too, all the first items were locked, later ones were unlocked like the hbs and holographic, bling on everything no matter what I choose, lost all my emblems and titles, all my kills and deaths but not my assists..(WTF?!?!), and it throws me in some blatantly cheating lobbies, had the c*** clan tag, seen some haxored as f*** killcams, its ruined it for me.. worse still, black-ops hardened is £100 on PS3.. thats £100 so I can play der reise, at the end of the day, WTF?

xbox 360 is easier to hack than ps3 its not a vize desition to youse xbox i got more hackers than humanly possible on xbox. xbox is the source of hacking in my oppinion so i stick with ps3 its a whole diffrence ps3:1 to 2 hackers xbox360: 3 to 4 hackers per lobby
Buying an xbox would be the best thing to do. I’ve been playing mw2 since its release on xbox, and haven’t played with a hacker. And if xbox is so easy to hack, why hasn’t xbox live been down for nearly a month?

It is so true the hackers should be banned but how about people who got all the titles and emblems opened up without using hack becoz the system flaws. I was so surprised i was in the middle of the game and something happened, by next minute i realised all my Titles, etc were visible.
I love this game and never thought i would be loking at this way. I started playing game since past two years and every minute its is so good …i even choose this game over my GF and saying so i wonder what will happen to my ID if sony starts checking the ID that were affected, will i be banned, I dont even know how to get the hacks for ps3..this make me worry
the reason you got all emblems… is that you entered a hacked lobby, you can argue it is not true but it is. Also really a game over a girl?

Okay ..that hacker sucker now claiming to be the best and looking for work in sony as security advisor..as far sony is concerned they dont worry about the hack..for them its history..for its shit..waste of money..therefore sony didnt met its obligation to provide the service they are suppose to. now question comes can we take action or ask for refund if so where , i am from sydney where we can take on board for refund. i purcahsed this console new and MW2 new ..my second new ones, now both of them are a big fail to me..advise or ideas??

Unfortunatley Sony is not oblegated to maintain a network. If there network is hacked they have no legal responsablility to pay you anything, even if your credit card details are stolen. You can read this in the Law supplement provided with PSN as they infrom you of all the risks you take when going online.
im in total agreement with you marco… im in the exact situation… i cannot believe that every call of duty game i play besides blackops is very easily hacked…. im disgusted by this because i also lost all of my stats and every god damn game i play has some bitch cheater in it who totally ruined all of these games for me. why they think its fun i dont know… this is just stupid because i spent an ungodly amount of time trying to get the most out of the game when poof some asshole wipes out all of my stats… this really makes me wonder if not only can they gain acess to my client to change stats, but what else can they get… now for either infinity ward, activision or sony to ask us to play in offline matches. that is bullshit. i payed 50$ for both MW2 and the first call of duty. i should be able to play safely online in any match without having to worry about compromised security… i believe that i have every right to get a refund if i decide to request one for both of those games… i will also reccomend everyone i know who is having problems with the games to do the same. so hopefully the problem will be fixed so i dont have to get my money back for those games i once loved and now hate. i would very much appreciate to love them again

Hackers are easier to fix and deal with on PC games, they can be banned properly and the ban-lists are multi-game wide so hackers actually get fucked on.
Anyways, you shouldn’t have bought a PS3 in this case, I did so to and game solely on PC.
I’ve had tons of issues witht he speed hack, a few with the noobtube hack…. luckily I haven’t had my stats wiped out, but I just started playing this game and am only up to level 35. I really enjoy the game, but if my stats are going to get wiped out, I probably won’t play it for the time being.
My sister loves playing MW2 on the PS3, but she hasn’t played in a while for fear of losing everything she’s earned. Private matches seem to be the only guarenteed way of playins safe, for now at least.

Ok where shall I start…last weekend I put mw2 in the ps3 and thought I’d play for abit as all I’ve been playing is Black Ops and I’m not joking every fricking game I went in to was a challenge lobby (hacked lobby) with people telling me ill de-rank you or I’m going to ban you or some crap like that so after 30mins and about 4/5 shit games that I couldn’t do anything in anyway I checked my stuff out and most to all of my titles and emblems had gone my classes had been reset I’m not even on the leaderboard anymore…I’ve played his game legit for over a year now and worked to get my stats kinda good and it’s just bullshit that people can just mess about with private stats and classes and titles and stuff, and then IW say there is nothing we can do is a load of crap… mw2 will not be going back in my ps3 again. I loved this game aswell an now its just like a cheap whore who ill visit once every 6months or so lol
Jesus! There are some real horror stories as far as all this is concerned. As if the COD experience on Playstation 3 wasn’t under enough scrutiny already as it it with the Black Ops cock up, this kind of thing kicks off.
I hope this is something they can get sorted soon before it damages any plans they might have for the future.
When will this be patched? I’m a legit tenth prestige, and today someone gave me all titles, emblems, guns, and camo’s. My stats are great! But It’s unfair and IW is saying that I can’t even undo it. This game is ruined, everyone’s stats are f***ed and no-one knows who’s legit anymore. NEEDS TO BE PATCHED.
Did you contact anyone and ask if anyone could ‘undone’ the hacked additions? Any idea why you’d get EXTRA stuff from hackers while others have had their stats and details wiped? Would love to know more.

I have 36 full days invested in MW2. Hard earned 10th prestige and my whole goal in the game was to collect every title and emblem fairly. Since Black Ops was a joke and had absolutely no detail I’ve been sticking to MW2. Yesterday, I was playing the typical Hardcore Team Deathmatch. I killed a guy and the next think I know my screen turned grey, money floating down. It said ” You are an exorcist” “Go get em” all my classes were changed, my titles wiped clean, emblems gone and it started me at square one. My clan name was also changed from (NnjA) to (CUNT). Scrolling at the bottom of the screen where it usually says your friends scores in red reads “you’ve been Fucking owned.” If this is true and Sony or Infinity cannot manage their gaming system, I along with all my friends are moving to XBox. For the time being and for them to get their act together I will be on the Wii. One more question. Cannot they access my funds and account information on the PS3? We will have problems.

Wow, this whole thing is really picking up steam in the most terrible way. The hacks are getting more elaborate and very hard to miss.
I haven’t heard any news on a solution as of yet guys, but I will keep you posted!
I really think that this game is no-longer fit for purpose and that Sony/Activision should either resolve this issue or offer full/partial refunds to their customers.
i fully agree this is bullshit and the only game that isnt hacked is blackops kinda makes you wonder …. marketing strategy? i mean its not like they are doing shit to fix it… they just patched blackops to 1.05 or sumthng this week but nothing for mw2… this is pissing me off
This is starting to be people’s view. If they cannot provide the service, people are going to start looking into some of kind of reimbursement and really, you can’ blame them.
I’ve been playing online in mw2 since the first day it came out. I have 13+ full days invested into it and have been trying to get to lvl 10 legit. yesterday at prestige 7 (lvl 47) i joined a lobby that was hacked and instinctively left only to find myself lvl 70.. all my stats were unaffected so i wasnt exactly angry at first because it didnt ruin anything so i prestiged. the Very next lobby i joined was hacked also. boom now im 9th prestige. i wanted to do it legit and hackers ruined that. and now i cant seem to find any unhacked lobbies. This problem needs to be addressed and some kind of reporting system needs to be put into place with regular account deletions.
That sucks but at least you didn’t lose all your progress, challenges, attachments, titles, kills, headshots, wins, and emblems like i did. This game has been ruined.
All I want to do is to be able to play the game, without pathetic hackers. MW2 has become ruined becuse of this. A guys kill/death ratio was 357-5 in alobby i joined. Hopefully someone will do something about it, bcause there are thousands of complaints out there.

I’m glad I found this article! For the past, I don’t know, maybe three weeks or so, pretty much every single lobby I’ve joined has been hacked.
I used to play Black Ops, but I think it’s pretty crap in all honesty, so I usually just go through MW2 quickscoping with a standard sniper class. Recently, however, it’s become utterly impossible to join a game and play properly. I’ve never hacked, nor do I plan to. I think it’s pathetic that people feel the need to cheat on a damn game of all things.
In the past, I’ve had all of my challenges unlocked, emblems, titles, etc. by these annoying hackers…I mean, fine, it’s annoying (because I’d have rather done it myself) but I can live with it.
But today, out of nowhere, I joined a game where the guy reset everyone’s class to a smoke grenade and a G18…I know right, wtf?! I’ve lost all of my pro perks, weapon unlocks…everything’s gone. It’s almost as though I’ve just picked up some weird virus (none of my classes have names anymore…they just have the PS3 ‘circle’ symbol instead).
This has totally messed up the game for me, ruined my K-D ratios, given me loads of losses (after trying to leave the game, then just being put straight back into it again…and subsequently leaving again…etc. etc.), and furthermore it’s really pissed me off!!
Sorry to vent, but these hackers have destroyed the game for the majority of legitimate, fair players and I think IW and Sony have done sweet FA to get it fixed…pathetic!!!!!!

I have to say I am totally shocked that nothing more has been done to address this issue by now. This and the Black Ops fuck up are likely to seriously damage this series chances of selling half as many units in the future.
No one seems to be doing anything to try and reverse this, and it is frankly a disgrace.
The last I heard there were rumours that the PS3 servers for Black Ops are just going to be “shut down”, which isn’t a solution at all. With that and this fiasco with Modern Warfare 2 you would’ve at thought they would’ve at least released some sort of statement by now. This is a total catastrophe!
Class action law suit! Any lawyers out there? If you have a family member that is a lawyer ask them if there is a legal way that the average comsumer can wake up Sony and the game developers. Individually we mean nothing to these people. As a group we would get their attention!

I been reading all the comments and it’s all happen to me. So I made the change over to XBOX and played MW2 without one hacked lobby. I know you have to pay to play on line but it’s worth it not to have some hacker ruin your day or stats.
had the same for about the last 3 weeks as you all. i had played the game, without cheating, to 10th prestige 53 and was about to go to 54. in estate at start of game standing in the 2nd floor , all of a sudden, god mode enabled, came accross the screen, a count down of 10/100, 20/100, etc took place. could not leave game or anything else. when game restarted im backed out and checked my info. all my stats were marked done with every weapon challenges complete, most of which i had never used, and i am now a 70. really pissed me off . 2 nights later i got the same as travis above. 1st a game of gray/white screen, no weapons, die respawn and repeat cycle and could not back out. one player at 365 kills no deaths and a team score of over 27,000 when i could finally back out. then exactly like travis, the scrolling youve been fucking owned and the c*nt clan tag. most of my weapons challenges are locked out and getting kills counts nowhere so you cant even start to redo your classes. also all my classes were pieces of shit crap that i couldnt get rid of. i did write infinity ward not only expressing the bullshit that there servers could be hacked to easily but also it bordering on being illegal, because the hackers are in fact getting into players playstation accounts and stealing their ps,points. imagine my surprise that they have not and probably will not ever respond back.

I red all your articles and it seems to me that we all loose our invesments with these games. I love MW2. Ever since Black ops came out, hackers seized to grab the oppurtunity to hack people. I heard a rumors MW3 is on its way, i think we all need to stick together and pay insurance for this game and address our issues in advance with these multi billion dollar company.
My account has been hacked and all my accomplishment vanished. I accept the fact that there is nothing we can do and sometimes when i play on-line with these hackers, I just play along with them. I ‘m not much a gamer myself but when I started playing MW2 I got so addicted and my skills improved and im proud of myself. But since these issues we had with these hackers, I think we could prevent it on the next MW3 by letting them know that we accept their terms and policy of agreements so they have to accept also and increase our protection as a costumers.

People…I’m pissed off aswell but honestly let me tell you now nothing will be done about this at all IW or activision will not be spending money to fix something that doesn’t bring any money in it’s as simple as that…especially with MW3 coming out later this year just forget about it the only thing you can do now is hope you get in to a lobby that hasn’t been hacked…I’ve had my titles and emblems deleted my pro perks taken away my challenges reset I’ve been deranked got ranked back up and then deranked again it’s a flipping joke to be honest that we have to deal with 10 year olds doing this crap and there’s nothing we can do about it….so the solution is if you can’t beat them join them!!!!! or just don’t play…but you know that not going to happen.

I’ve read through these articles and share the disgust, i’ve been another number added to the tons of gamers who have had their stats ruined by exploits.
i’ve had it happen on COD 4 and MW2, i’d gone through a few days playing nice and relaxed at my own pace, worked up to a nice level with my classes all set out how i wanted it…and by bad luck i ended up in a modded lobby or “CL” as there called, screen went berzerk, players were running so damn fast,god mode came on you name it, and the text on my screen kept spamming “challenges unlocked….all camo’s….etc etc”
Not particurlary happy, even though this is just video games, i cant help but feel just a lil bit irritated and not only that….as if the hacking wasnt bad enough, its the insults that get thrown at you for sticking up for yerself when your faced with a hacker.
I strongly hope that IW and Treyarch and SONY can do something about this…or i’m leaving one of my favourite games in the dust because its just not worth playing anymore.

So it seems there is still some love for MW2. Activision probably initiated this to protect the franchise, but the statement from IW doesn’t exactly fill me with confidence.
P.S. In the meantime, until IW patch the game I say forget MW2 online on the PS3 or you’re just giving the hackers their fun. That’s easy for me to say though as I’m such a CoD nut I also have it on 360 so I can still get my ‘fix’.
Happened to me today, went into a hacked lobby, all the sudden got a countdown 10/100, 20/100, 30/100 unlocking all challenges, I couldn’t leave the game… got lvl 70 and everything is unlocked. Ruined the game for me. I have no reason to play it now.
Worst part is, I can’t undo it. If anyone knows how I can undo it let me know. Even if it’s to start at lvl 1 again.
This is really unbelievable, every game is a hacked game? Or am I in a kind of shortlist for hackergames??? I have all emmblem and weapons and on my AK47 there is a laser. The worst thing for me personally is that I can’t see any way that those that have been affected by this bloody shambles will ever get their progress back. If you are in fact the person I commented towards, you stated that you “lovvveee hacking”. This is the action that I have taken offence to. It starts when one person thinks it would be cool to be able to modify the game. Some of them are harmless, idle experimentation. When used sparingly, it can be comical and enjoyable. When it is every frieking lobby, it is a nuisance, enough to make many complaint to the programmers and others (like me) to stop playing the game. The reason it is every other lobby is because people like you think it is cool to copy source code (NOT hacking, which you probably had to go though step-by-step instructions to copy a file. Are you upset that I pointed that out?). Multiply that by a sizeable percentage of a gaming community, and you have a bunch of people like me desperately going from lobby to lobby in search of an unmodified game. And if that wasn’t annoying enough, there are codes that exist that download modifications onto other’s profiles without their permission, and they have no idea how to get rid of it, short of wiping their computer/console clean.
An then there are malicious hacks, which can be easily added to the harmless modifications that attack personal data, whether it be information regarding the progress in the game or accessing any financial data, which is illegal. The large amount of people using the modification enables the hack to spread far, wide and fast.
Is it clear as to how you are a nuisance yet.
And concerning your lengthy tirade about me oppressing you, the comment “piss off” was not about you posting your comment, in case you weren’t reading the rest of my comment that you so quickly responded to. That wouldn’t resolve anything, simply putting the issue out of sight, out of mind. I oppose administrators that remove comments because I fail to see how that would solve anything. I was wishing that you would either stop using modifications that give you an unfair advantage or stop using your console. The simple reality that you will do neither is of obvious irritation to me, as it is to everyone that simply wants to play a game without having to worry about their personal data.
This is why I particularly dislike you, as do possibly millions of other gamers. That is why there are so many threads like this denouncing your kind. As for people not caring, are you aware that so many people are complaining about your kind that companies that release games have to promise to never let your kind, which I still liken to parasites, to ever be able to do what you do?

After all this time i came across this site. I see that i am not the only one who has been affected by hackers. On 1/1/2011, I had been playing modern warfare 2 when suddenly i was moved to a lobby in which all of my hard work and stats, weapons, ect were hacked. I lost everything. After that match, My name was changed to c**t clan followed by my screen name, and at the bottom of the screen it said “you just got F***ed”. After that, words can’t describe how pissed i was. It completely ruined the game for me. Now, I never play it. The story mode is still great, but never will enjoy the game as i once did. Given this happen to me before the release of black ops, i was correct in my choice not to get black ops because something told me the game would also be ruined for me by hackers. Thanks to this site, i found that i am among thousands of people who have had this happen to them. On the flip side, I was recording the whole match with video to show by buddies how good i was…. I am glad i did. I would like to share with all of you a list of the PSN accounts which were involved in the hacked match….

The hack happened at 11:16pm, these accounts after this are being added because i want everyone to see everyone i met that day. High level threat are the ones above including zumahh at the time of the hack and were in the match when it happened. If you come across on of these PSN users, turn off the system or leave the match. I recommend recording matches to catch these hackers and putting a stop to unwanted security breaches. Report those suspected to Sony. I have reported these people and have physical evidence to black up my claim. I am also doing my own independent investigation to help those i can in an way to avoid this happening to them. Thank you to all who took the time to read this, and i hope this has helped in some way. Use caution if you come across any of these suspected users, and make sure you report any users whom have violated Sony’s breach of online contract. (refer to Sony’s online agreement Manual) Also read the back of the MW2 manual. Once again, thank you all for your time.

He was in a match a few hour before the 11:16pm hack, but he in the match when this happened and running his mouth about it. Use caution if you come across this user. High level threat!!! ( time is different because that is when my ps3 recorded players met.) all are suspects mainly this guy.

I gained all legitmaitely over a gratifying but time consuming 59 – YES 59!! – days of play…
I have two games, this is the only one I ever play… I paid a thousand bucks for this game and the ps3 to play it….
I land in a lobby and the hacker/host (public MPer) freezes me so I cannot leave and then wipes everything… everything… I did nothing. NOTHING.
Who rips out your heart like that? The CoC of the PSN has been breached!! These hackjers must be patched out and their ISP banned (and not these BS IDs) so they can never play PS3 again, all of them, NOW!!
My stats read 0 kills 0 wins… even the days are at 0…. It is like I never played… 59 days, all that work…
I have played once since and some one ulocked all my perks and stuff… so I have no stats, but all my stuff…

I want to know who I contact to advise of my class action suit being organised against the PSN and Sony… It is fundamentally irresponsible, and frankly as criminally negigent as a company can get, to all ow this to happen…. not to mention on reflection this happened days after the issue surfaced…

My heart has been effectively trampled by this random and malicious inceident and, quite honestly, if the scum responsible for making this hack or the hacker who did this or to anyone else were infront of me, I would end them.

I’ve stopped playing since the numbers increased. I managed to beat a hacker in a public match before i stopped playing completely. I don’t appreciate hackers ruining my gaming experience from progressing. I decided that I’ll just stick with other FPS til Sony can do something with IW about this. One good thing from the whole thing, since the wallhack wasn’t good enough to change my progress (which still stands at approx. 632 percent – Prestige 6, Level 27), I don’t plan on risking it by going back on MW2, at least not til something is done, and if it means that it takes a year up to pretty much forever, then I guess I will stay away from it permenately. I may just switch over to Black Ops, only because I still find the COD experience somewhat worth it, but I have other choices, as i have seen that Medal of Honor is not, yes, NOT, a knock off copy of MW2 and BF: Bad Company. So the sooner this hack ban kicks into gear, the better.

Same thing happened to me yesterday, playing a normal team deathmatch on Scrapyard – I’d just left multiple lobbies that were hacked. This seemed an alright lobby, then a white message came up on the screen that told me my stats had been reset. I left and my clantag had been changed to C*NT. All perks/titles and emblems gone.. I was going for legit 10th, all titles and emblems. It really sucks. Most of the hackers on here are 12 year old twats who think it’s “cool” I’m telling you, if someone did this to them they’d want them slaughtered.
I’m a 10th prestige on ps3 i had all the titles and most of my guns mastered and a 4.6 k/d and just today i got hacked im a 10th prestige with nothing! no guns no ratio no titles or emblems and i lost all of the maps I bought with my money this is a growing problem and a waste of our money, either sony, or infinity ward fix it before u guys start losing money because Xbox has better security, online play(less lag)
Ok so heres the thing. I was playing team deathmatch today and also got hacked and lost all titles ,had clantag changed to C*NT and the scrolling “you got f*cking owned”. If enough people record when this happened and go into people met within the PS3 on that date its only a matter of process and elimination until you can work out who the common players are which are always in the hacked lobbies. I have no idea who to contact about this but i am f*cking furious as i spent a lot of time building up my titles. Anyone know cause someone is going to get a piece of my mind?

I was hacked a second time (I will NOT stop playing, for anyone, let alone criminal 12 year olds who sit lie around with their mates at sleepovers and mutually masturbate their one inch weiners)… so I did what was obvious… I employed a friend of a friend to ISP trace every hacker I came across and traced them, one by fkn one…
Not all were local, but over 60% were due to the servers picking local people. If you are in NEw Zealand, I know you who you are and I know where you live…
I long ago gave up on legal action and money won’t suffice now…. You have one week from today SONY / whoever to have this patched and/or a new version of firmware that is immune to hackers.. OR – I am, along with five friends, going to begin killing them. The media will pick up on it because they will have calling cards.

High level threat are the ones above including zumahh at the time of the hack and were in the match when it happened. If you come across on of these PSN users, turn off the system or leave the match. I recommend recording matches to catch these hackers and putting a stop to unwanted security breaches. Report those suspected to Sony. I have reported these people and have physical evidence to black up my claim. I am also doing my own independent investigation to help those i can in an way to avoid this happening to them. Thank you to all who took the time to read this, and i hope this has helped in some way. Use caution if you come across any of these suspected users, and make sure you report any users whom have violated Sony’s breach of online contract. (refer to Sony’s online agreement Manual) Also read the back of the MW2 manual. Once again, thank you all for your time.

1/1/2011 9:05pm this guy was also in the match at the time of the hack. He was using foul language and he is the Number one suspect!!! the time may differ, but he was claiming to hack everyone. He was in a match a few hour before the 11:16pm hack, but he in the match when this happened and running his mouth about it. Use caution if you come across this user. High level threat!!! ( time is different because that is when my ps3 recorded players met.) all are suspects mainly this guy.

For all of you people that got reset, serves you right lil hackers. Black Ops is ruined by you people too thats what happens when you hack. Funny little stories about how you got hacked just come clean, you hacked and got caught.

just here to speak my mind. the hacks and cheats suck for ps3. people claim you should go to xbox, they dont close there servers blah blah this and blah blah that. you pay to play so they dont care about the hackers plain and simple. i been through 3 xbox 360′s which all broke for some odd reason my 4th one they sent me i traded in the store for a ps3 and had no problems with it besides the cheaters online. yes it sucks the cheaters ruin the game for us but we dont pay a monthly price to play so why complain?
Yes! so happy completed multiplayer 100%, oh no wait, tht means there is nothing to do now, thanks yer bloody hacker. why cant they just play the game and not mess up everyones stats and crap, all my stuff is unlocked, but it wasnnt me, just some hacker, my mates are idiots and pure love it, but its proper crap. MW2 will be going back in th box as there is no point playing it now, payed good money for that game, wanted to play it myself and unlock things, myself. ahh well, how long until MW3 is hacked???
