Welcome to our weekly Community Q!
Once a week we flip the tables and listen to what you guys have to say . . . rather than sitting back and make you listen to us!
Community Q: Do you have a game on your shelf that you haven’t finished because the final boss battle was too hard? Or what about one monstrously difficult level in the middle of a game? Have you ever finished off a hellish level, only to find that it – GASP – didn’t save properly (remember Nightfall, R? :p)? Does the thought of getting through Super Meat Boy put you into a sweat?
Tell us your opinion – and your reasons behind it – right here in the comments! Or how about joining our forums and talking about it over there? :)
Got an idea for a future Community Q question? Drop us a line and tell us about it!

Ooh, great question! I can’t think of a game that I’ve not eventually finished, following many tears and tantrums perhaps, but one game I’ve never totally bested is Final Fantasy VII.
I’ve always managed to take down the optional bosses in VIII and IX but the fights with Diamond Weapon and Ruby Weapon in VII are just so damn hard I lose my patience and carry on to finish the game. Next playthrough I swear to god I will beat those two big bastards into submission. xD
Undoubtedly Sephiroth in Kingdom Hearts coliseum side-quest thing. Still havent managed to beat him, and I dont know anyone who has.
I did manage to take him down in the sequel, which was also hard as hell.
And possibly my single proudest moment :)
I’m sure there are plenty more but that was the first thing that came to me.
The hardest game I can remember playing without doubt is (Forbidden) Siren. I don’t think I ever actually finished first time around, it was that hard! And did I mention scary, those Shibito were horrifying.
Yes!! Honorable mention has to go to Siren. I defy anyone to get even part way through without consulting a walkthrough, never mind finish it!
