Play Dead Space 2 with GGS Gamer and Global Playthrough

25 Jan, 2011

Too scared to play Dead Space alone? Aw. Bless. Well, what about playing Dead Space 2 with GGS Gamer for company? Think you can manage that?

As part of the awesomeness that is Global PlayThrough, on 19 February your favourite GGS Gamer staff will be getting together to play Dead Space 2. Linked together by XBox Live (and maybe Skype, if the tech doesn’t fail us), we plan to play through the entire single player campaign together alone, sharing the jumps, screams and numerous swear words as we work our way through EA/Visceral’s latest terrifying installment. And if the solo campaign is too much (and trust me when I tell you that I’ve played it and it is completely terrifying), we could always chop each other up in the multiplayer instead. Yay!

Don’t have a gold subscription or a 360? Well, that’s okay too. We can hook up and share screams and scares across Twitter, Facebook, Skype, MSN … the list is endless! The idea is to share our thoughts and experiences, if not necessarily gameplay at exactly the same time – so feel free to join us if you intend to play on your PS3!

Take part with us and join global playthrough and you’ll also get the chance to win a host of glittery prizes, too – more yay!

For more information, visit the official Global PlayThrough site and keep an eye on our Twitter feed. More details as they come.

  1. The idea of this sounds good to me. I’m normally far too scared to play horror games, though. Still, I might see if I can pick up a copy for my PS3.
