New tactical shooter Breach blows XBLA and Steam wide open

Atomic Games – the US development team behind simulations designed for real-life military use – release their brand new downloadable shooter Breach today.

In a press release sent out this afternoon, Atomic’s president Peter Tamte said “We are proud to release an original title that has the quality and innovation of a major retail game at a price anyone can afford.”

“By using technology orginally built for Six Days in Fallujah, Breach offers features no one else can match at any price. Our destruction and cover systems will forever change the way games are played.”

Breach features dynamic destructible environments, an advanced cover system, tactical team play, an array of gameplay modes and online multiplayer support for up to 16 players. Players can earn XP, rank up and unlock new gadgets, perks and character classes.

Breach is available now via the Xbox Live Arcade for 1200 Microsoft Points, or Steam for £14.99.
