This week has been full of Mortal Kombat goodness.
Not only have more trailers made their way to the internet for you to feast your eyes upon, but new aural delights are also now on their way.
Last month, I told you about the first track to be released from “Mortal Kombat: Songs Inspired by the Warriors”. “Mileena’s Theme” by DJ and Producer Tokimonsta was so well-received that two more tracks from the upcoming album have now been made available to download. The tracks, entitled “Helado (Sub-Zero’s Theme)” and “Liu Kang’s Theme”, can be purchased from iTunes and Amazon with the full album being released on 5th April 2011.
And those trailers? I aim to please:
Mortal Kombat is to be released at midnight on MORTAL MONDAY, 18th April 2011, for both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

I loved Mortal Combat back on the old arcane boxes at the pizza place, my neighbor’s console, and throughout the years. I think “Mortal Monday” sounds lame, but more button mashing goodness could be in store. :D
