California-based development team Telltale Games have announced a forthcoming game tie-in with superb comic book-turned telly series The Walking Dead, according to tech analysis site All Things Digital.
Since its small-screen debut in October 2010, The Walking Dead has proved a huge hit with horror fans on both sides of the Atlantic and – let’s face it – us gamers love a good old-fashioned gore-fest, so a video game adaptation seems like a perfectly logical next step.
Telltale are no strangers to film franchise tie-ins; The Walking Dead joins a roster of episodic film-to-game adaptations including the well-received Back to the Future series, plus a forthcoming game based on Steven Spielberg’s classic dino-disaster movie Jurassic Park, due in April this year.
All Things Digital also confirm another Telltale comic-book partnership, this time with Vertigo, to develop a video game based on their award-winning Fables franchise – not to be confused with Peter Molyneux’s blockbuster adventure RPG series of the (almost) same name.

I need to *find* the last 2 episodes of this show somewhere before Season 2 comes out. It’s definitely awesome if you love zombie themed things. I think the game has a lot of great source material, so there is hope.
Okay so im busy reading the comics and i LOVE it!! now to get a hold of the series……
My friend read the comic after hearing the series was being produced. She loves all things zombie! She really enjoyed the series and commented that the changes they make on the show are not bad. I did not read the comic, but really enjoyed the 4 episodes I saw.
