Call of Juarez – The Cartel: Announcement Trailer

Call of Juarez – The Cartel: Announcement Trailer

It’s time for money, drugs and guns and the new Wild West as Ubisoft unwrap a new trailer of Call of Juarez – The Cartel.

Touted as an action-packed shooter that “bring[s] the best elements of the Wild West into modern times with a very gritty and relevant plot”, Call of Juarez – The Cartel stars Ray McCall, Eddie Guerra and Kim Evans as three hardass anti-hero cops.

“The wild west lives on, even in modern times,” explains Techland product manager Aymeric Evennou. “The Wild West is mostly a location – and those locations have not changed much today, except for a few roads. It’s also about lawlessness, where good guys fight bad guys with smoking guns – and the outlaw is still alive today. You can see it in LA, and in Juarez itself. This world is violent and lawless. When we talk about our Wild West, we talk about real men.”

So, what do you think? Good? Bad? Thoroughly indifferent? We’d love to hear your thoughts!

Call of Juarez – The Cartel is set to hit our consoles this coming summer.
