If you’ve been keeping up with our What-We’re-Playing-Wednesday posts recently you’ll know that I’ve been playing a lot of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow on the 360 recently. It really is a beautiful, engaging game and the voice acting talents of Sir Patrick Stewart and Robert Carlyle only sweeten the deal so far as I’m concerned.
And so obviously I was delighted when Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH announced earlier this week that it will release the Reverie DLC pack for the game at the end of March.
The download content will be available over PSN and XBLA later this month, costing 7.99 Euros for the PS3 version and 800 MS Points for the 360 code.
It’s set to be the first of two planned DLC packs for the game, and will see players return to the castle as Gabriel seeks to help Laura, the former servant to the vampire Camilla. The death of the vampire Queen has unleashed an ancient evil that threatens the land, and Gabriel must restore balance in these two additional chapters.
