Final Fantasy III Moves on to the iPhone

Square Enix has posted a trailer for a port of their classical role playing game Final Fantasy III to the iPhone. Originally released in 1990, this installment of the fabled franchise has already been remade for the Nintendo DS platform and was released earlier in 2006 in North America and 2007 in Europe.

The trailer states that the game will be available for release to download on March 24th for a price of €12.99, £9.49, and $15.99 from the iTunes App Store worldwide.

    Am I the only one that wants Square-Enix to make a sprite-based remake of this?

    • I really REALLY want to play the SNES original of FFIII – or Famicom should I say. I know there are ROMS around but it never quite feels the same. :)
