Grasshopper to release charity iOS game Frog Minutes

28 Mar, 2011

Two weeks on, and we’re still counting the fiscal and human cost of Japan’s devastating earthquake and tsunami.

If you’re one of those people that want to donate to the relief effort but have yet to get around to it – or, of course, you’re happy to give and give again – you might want to look out for Grasshopper Manufacture’s contribution to the cause.

In addition to the exclusive tracks on GhM’s Facebook page (two of which come from infamous Silent Hill producer and composer, Akira Yamaoka), the team are also putting out a new iOS game, Frog Minutes.

Do we know anything else about the game itself? Nope. And knowing Grasshopper Manufacture’s MO, it’s probably got sweet FA to do with frogs or clocks. But given that all proceeds will go directly to the Japanese Red Cross, do you really care? Buy it and give something to support efforts in Japan.

Frog Minutes is set for release this coming Wednesday, 20 March 2011.
