Think back to the day when the original DS was released. At the time it was a very impressive piece of kit, and lots of people were excited. But considering that by today’s standards will create a whole new generation of excitedness. Nintendo has really out done themselves this time, as the 3DS is the most advanced, high tech and amazing piece of kit ever invented on the face of the universe.
The fact it has a whole new set of games, downloadable movies, downloadable game boy games and other interesting features all in stunning 3D is just incredible! The Mii system from the Wii returns with the new feature of taking a picture of someone and converting their image into a Mii. The Miis can then be used in other games, such as the 3DS launch title Pilotwings Resort. The 3DS also comes bundled with 6 Augmented Reality cards (or AR for short).The first card turns into a mini shooting game when it is looked at with the 3DS camera. The other 5 cards turn into 5 familiar Nintendo characters which can be scaled, rotated, resized and used in 3D pictures. The sound is even better than the DSi and the graphics are better than ever. To sum it up,the 3DS is Nintendo’s best ever handheld, and you’ll be crackers if you miss it!
