The SOCOM franchise has become a hit for anyone that has owned Sony hardware. Zipper Interactive have always been a team that thrives on capturing the realism of small unit special operations military teams, and SOCOM 4 is looking to keep up this tradition. With SOCOM 4, the team at Zipper is finally going to release a proper SOCOM release on the PlayStation 3 platform, using the experience from MAG to make this a great single and multiplayer game.
Zipper and Sony held a great hour long developer conference to talk a bit about the history of Zipper Interactive, the history of the SOCOM franchise, and new details about the upcoming SOCOM 4, including the new modes for multiplayer, the 14 campaign missions for single player and the new scenario creator for the co-op campaign mode.
