Bethesda has decided to give gamers a few more teaser glimpses at Prey 2 and both screenshots have left me scratching my head a bit. The first one looks to be a shootout in a space bar, with aliens, dead bodies and the appropriate bartender looking like he wants to scream out, “You break it, you buy it!”. The second screen is a wide screen scenic shot of what looks to be a cityscape or space port of some kind.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t the first Prey take place on a spaceship wtih nothing but deadly enemies running around. I do not remember a bar where I could get a drink with some Batarian aliens, or a space port where I could hang out with the locals. It was a much more solitary experience, lacking much interaction, unless you count Spirit Grandpa showing up to drop nuggets of wisdom.
Now I am not totally negative on Prey 2, but I am not sure what it is suppose to be going for at this point in time. Is it a direct sequel to the first game, or are we re-envisioning the series from scratch. I did like the first game, with the exception of the no penalty for dying, so I am hopeful for Prey 2, but curious as to where it is going.

Maybe this is some sort of multiplayer campaign being revealed?
