Did you miss out on the first Patapon? Not to worry, these little ones are not done yet. When the title first released on 2008 on the PSP, it was a well-received shot in the arm.
Now, Sony’s Japan Studio has released the final trailer for the third installment in this rhythmic action game. You control a horde of Patapons, fierce warriors fighting to take back their lands from evil spirits. The emphasis of gameplay falls on audio cues, as there is a constant drum beat in the background of the game, and you must time your button tapping in order to drum out the correct fighting orders. Otherwise, you’ll fall prey to the encroaching demons.

You are now given the option to evolve your Patapons in a number of different ways, and there is also online co-op support. Bring your buddies into the fray, and get ready to beat out the flames of evil, save lost tribes, and reclaim what’s yours!
Patapon 3 is due to be released on April 12, 2011 for the PSP.
