Topping off an impressive heap of exciting announcements yesterday, Capcom are developing a brand new entry in the Dead Rising 2 saga.
Dead Rising 2: Off the Record has been dubbed a reinterpretation of the zombie slice-and-dice ‘em up sequel, re-telling the Fortune City incident through the eyes – and camera lens – of Frank West.
As well as brand new missions, combo weapons and technical improvements – including speedier load times – Off the Record will revive the original game’s photography element, PP awards and all!
Dead Rising® 2: Off the Record sees photojournalist and original hero of Dead Rising’s Willamette incident, Frank West take center stage as players experience a reimagining of the Fortune City outbreak. Forget what you know about Dead Rising® 2,”Frank West is back in the game!”
Dead Rising 2: Off the Record is in development for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC, for release later this year. Downloadable chapters Case Zero and Case West remain exclusive to Xbox.
